It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time…

My stomach growled fiercely. I scoured the fridge and pantry, but there was nothing I wanted to eat.

I didn’t want soup. or leftover birthday cake. This is crazy, but I didn’t even want chocolate!

All I wanted was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

And so, I made one. I made my brother make me a sandwich. 🙂

I wolfed it down before I could take any pictures.

It made me reminisce my childhood days when I had pb&j sandwiches every single day for an after school snack. I got bored eventually, but I still crave them from time to time. Peanut butter and jelly will always have a special place in my heart.

Do you like pb&j? If yes, you can join me in drooling over these awesome recipes. If not, we can no longer be friends. tell me you at least like peanut butter?

Happy Birthday to Moi

It’s my birthday today! Can you guess my age? (*Super* helpful hint: it’s in the double digits!)

Anyways, this is how I spent my day:

  • Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy feeling like sh*t, wanting to go back to bed
  • Grab my glasses
  • I’m out the door, I’m going to hit this city
  • Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack with some Sensodyne toothpaste
  • Cause when I leave for the night, I ain’t coming back  I’m coming back. Seriously.

Nope, I’m definitely not Ke$ha.

I went to school, got home, ate cake, blogged,  and did homework.  procrastinated.

Speaking of cake… my mom bought a lemon cream cake. It was lemony, dry, and dense. The royal icing was stiff and way too sweet. Let’s just say, if it wasn’t my birthday cake, I would not have eaten it.

Now, here are some truly beautiful and mouth-watering cakes from one of my favourite bloggers, SprinkleBakes.

If you could have any cake in the world for your birthday, what would it be?

The. first. post.

I have decided to take up blogging again. Yes, again.

You see, I tried this whole food blogging shabang last year. It worked for the first few months, but it quickly went downhill from there. Here are a few reasons why I quit:

  • I got bored.
  • School started and I became extremely busy.
  • No one really read my blog. *goes to a corner and cries*
  • My camera sucked.
  • I found new hobbies.

Reasons why I decided to blog again:

  • I missed blogging.
  • I am a procrastinator at heart. I have finally realized that no matter how busy I am, I will always procrastinate. I think food blogging is a better way to procrastinate than lounging around, doing nothing. Agreed?
  • I am determined to gain 100 followers!
  • I have desperately been wanting to try out my new camera.

Hopefully, I am more successful at blogging than I was last year. *fingers crossed!*
