Today, I made her avocado banana smoothie. I’m not really a smoothie person, but I love this smoothie!
It’s healthy – sweetened with banana and stevia.
It’s easy – can be prepared in under five minutes, and it only requires four ingredients!
It’s delicious – try it if you don’t believe me! Ingredients:

Not only is watermelon an excellent thirst-quencher, it is also low in calories and bursting with nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, lycopene, magnesium, and potassium, just to name a few!
If you still aren’t convinced, watermelon contains citrulline, an amino acid that benefits our circulatory and immune systems through dilation of blood vessels and removal of harmful toxins like ammonia.
Most importantly, watermelon is delicious and extremely versatile. You can make watermelon salsa, smoothies, salads, cocktails, parfaits, sandwiches, popsicles… the possibilities are endless! If you are ever in need of some ideas, check out the National Watermelon Promotion Board.
