1.23 Billion Chicken Wings

Did you know…

that Americans ate more than 1.23 billion chicken wings during this year’s Super Bowl weekend?

To put that into perspective… if 1.23 billion wings were laid end to end, they would stretch from Candlestick Park in San Francisco to M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore 27 times. (Click here for the full article by the National Chicken Council.)

1.23 billion wings = a whole lot of chickens. (615 million to be precise)

Although I’m not that into football, I love chicken wings. (If you can relate to this statement, there is a good chance that you are also a foodie.) I love fried chicken wings, buffalo wings, buffalo wings with ranch, barbecue chicken wings, honey mustard chicken wings, teriyaki chicken wings… the list goes on. But my favourite, which also happens to be the healthiest and easiest, would have to be grilled chicken wings.

Soy sauce + white wine vinegar + chicken seasoning are all the ingredients that you will need. If you want a bit of a punch, you can add some hot sauce.

How do you like your chicken wings?
